UEP Climbing at Alta in Gilbert AZ

Join Up Ending Parkinson’s (UEP) for a special community climbing event during the World Parkinson’s Congress at Alta Climbing in Mesa, Arizona. This gathering is open to everyone—people living with Parkinson’s who want to climb or simply watch, doctors, physical therapists, researchers, friends, family members, and volunteer belayers.

This event is a chance to experience firsthand how rock climbing is helping people with Parkinson’s build strength, confidence, and community. Participants will have the opportunity to try climbing in a welcoming, supportive environment or simply connect with others and learn more about the program.

The founder of Up Ending Parkinson’s will be in attendance along with UEP ambassadors, climbers, and volunteers from programs across the country, creating a unique opportunity to meet members of the growing national community. Whether you are curious about climbing, interested in the research, or simply want to see the impact of the program in action, we would love to have you join us.
