We Strongly Encourage You to Attend Uechi-Con!
Dear Students and Families,
We want to take a moment to strongly encourage every member of our academy to attend **this year’s Uechi-Con**.
Uechi-Con is much more than another martial arts event. It is an opportunity to step outside your normal training routine, learn from experienced Uechi-Ryu practitioners, meet other students and instructors from the Uechi-Ryu community, and experience the incredible sense of tradition and camaraderie that makes our martial art so special.
For our younger students, attending an event like Uechi-Con can be incredibly motivating. Seeing students of different ages and experience levels training together can open their eyes to what is possible as they continue their own martial arts journey. It gives them something to look forward to and reminds them that their training is part of something much bigger than our individual dojo.
For our adult students, Uechi-Con provides a chance to deepen your understanding of Uechi-Ryu, challenge yourself, and reconnect with the reasons you started training in the first place.
And for parents, we believe it is a wonderful opportunity to see the larger Uechi-Ryu community that your child has become a part of.
**We Don't Want You to Miss This Experience**
Our students work hard throughout the year. Uechi-Con gives you the opportunity to take that hard work into a larger training environment, learn new things, make new friends, and create memories that can stay with you for years.
You don't have to be an advanced student. **Uechi-Con is for everyone**—beginners, intermediate students, advanced practitioners, adults, and families.
We strongly encourage you to make the commitment to attend this year. Come with an open mind, train hard, ask questions, support your fellow students, and enjoy being part of the Uechi-Ryu family.
**Your martial arts journey is about more than earning your next belt. It's about the people you meet, the lessons you learn, the challenges you overcome, and the experiences you share along the way. Uechi-Con is one of those experiences we believe you should have.**
