Michael Morpurgo will make an exclusive appearance at UEA this November as part of the Autumn Festival of Norfolk. A rate opportunity to enjoy the company of one of the UK's best-loved authors and storytellers, this event is sure to be a hit with all lovers of Morpurgo's work. Michael Morpurgo was appointed Children's Laureate in 2003, a post he helped to set up with Ted Hughes in 1999. He has written over 150 books, including Private Peaceful, Kensuke's Kingdom, The Butterfly Lion and War Horse. His OBE and Knighthood were awarded for services to literature and charity.
Michael will be in conversation with Dr Jasmin Kirkbride; an author and PHD Doctorate in Creative & Critical writing UEA with an MA in Creative Writing (UEA) and MA in Ancient History (Kings College).
