Geordie Greep Trio:
Is The New Sound a tonic for these times.
Geordie's debut solo album boasts a brand of high quality, all-embracing alternative pop fun not heard in a very long time, walking the line between the ridiculous and brilliant with a teflon-coated aplomb.
How the record came about is a thing to marvel at. Over thirty session musicians were involved in its making, on two continents. Greep says, "Half of the tracks were done in Brazil, with local musicians pulled together at the last minute. They'd never heard anything I'd done before, they were just interested in the demos I'd made. The tracking was all done in one, maybe two days."
The spirit of Greeps increasingly febrile and furtive soliloquies simultaneously calls to mind both Frank Zappa and Frank Sinatra, with a healthy dash of Scott Walker sprinkled throughout.
What next?
"My plan is to do a Keith Jarrett thing, have a different group of session musicians in a different place and lean into the fact that we're not going to get it the same."

Farvel & Perter Laugesen:
Farvel & Peter Laugesen is a collaboration between the two. Farvel being an Aarhus based rockband and Peter Laugesen being the veteran poet that he is.
Farvel initially tried to be a jazztrio, but failed succesfully into their current brand of cinematic impro-rock. Peter Laugesen has been writing and reading his poetry for many decades, and has for many years been a stable, clear voice in danish literature. His personal approach to live reading of his poetry is unique, and has been refined over decades while performing with an impressive cast of musicians.
Farvel & Peter Laugesen met in commotion studio in december 2024 for a recording session. The fruits of this meeting are set to release on the 12th of february 2026.

Magnus Munk Tækker:
Magnus Munk Tækker is a multi-instrumentalist - improvising, exploring & expanding into new musical & sonic spaces with the pedal steel, clarinet, guitar & computer.
In recent years he has released several albums: ‘passage’ from January 2025 & ’en aften’ from June 2024 - both released as a part of movement shaped like a heart.
This evening will be a celebration for the release of his newest album - ‘180’ - a double-cassette album with associations to both ambient, glitch & free improvised music. ‘180’ will be released January 2026.
