About this Event
The UDC ServSafe Food Protection Manager 3- Day Course Series is recognized by federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course will help food service managers enforce critical food safety practices, in establishments, with every meal served. The UDC ServSafe Food Protection Manager course ensures that you:
- Protect the public's health and safety in your food service establishment.
- Understand current food safety policies and procedures.
- Implement effective employee training programs.
- Keep your operation in compliance with all applicable public health regulations.
Food Protection M anager certifications must be renewed every five (5) years.
Free to register. The course fee to attend is $147.00 . This fee is payable by money order to the "University of the District of Columbia," and includes direct instruction, ServSafe book, and the proctored examination.

- By Mail in advance: UDC Cashier’s Office, c/o CAUSES, 4200 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008
- Through the Cashier’s Office in advance: Building 39, 2nd floor, Room 201, 9am to 4pm, Monay through Friday
- 1st day of attendance, to Ms. Monica Wiggins (during business hours) CAUSES Room 5321 or to PI/Instructor (if after hours).
3 Day Course Series: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Instruction is in-person at the UDC Van Ness Campus, 4200 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. The campus is conveniently located at the Van Ness/UDC Metro stop on the Red Line.

Credential Earned: National certification will be awarded upon scoring 70% or more on the certification examination.

Time offered: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
