About David Borges: David Borges has covered UConn men’s basketball for the New Haven Register/Hearst Connecticut Media Group since 2007. Over a distinguished career spanning more than two decades, he has covered six Final Fours and four UConn national championships and was named Connecticut Sportswriter of the Year in 2019. He is the author of several books on UConn basketball and baseball and has been a Baseball Hall of Fame voter since 2014.
About Matt Caputo: Matt Caputo is a writer, reporter, and adjunct professor whose work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Post, New York Daily News, Newsday, SLAM, and Connecticut Magazine.
