Join us for the UCMA's Good Friday Witness Walk! This annual tradition is a community worship event in three stages:First, we will begin in the parking lot of the Erwin Food Lion at 11:00 AM. The crowd will walk south-bound down Main Avenue, carrying a large wooden cross and stopping along the way to share in scripture, songs, prayers, and devotions.
Second, the procession will end at Centenary United Methodist Church, where we will hear a brief message on our Lord Jesus and the reason we remember His death on Good Friday.
Third, we will enjoy a lunch coordinated by the Erwin Kiwanis Club and prepared by local churches in the Centenary United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
In the event of inclement weather, we will forego the walk and gather for the message and meal at Centenary United Methodist Church. Please be on the lookout for such schedule changes on the morning of the event.
