August 14th Uckfield Soul Night @ The Cinque Ports Club, 186 High Street, Uckfield, TN22 1AU. The host’s and regular DJ’s: Keith Woon, Maxine Woon, Stuart Trevelion, Steve Wolston, proudly present the annual Uckfield Soul event, which will now go ahead, albeit with a slight date change so as to fit in with the club’s event rosta. We are most grateful to the Cinque Ports Club for accommodating us. The resident DJ’s plus special guest DJ: Steve Guarnori, will be playing only the finest: Classic Soul (from the 60’s and 70’s), Northern & Crossover Soul and R&B. The starting time is 7.30pm to midnight, and the lovely Ali will be on the door to welcome you and take your entrance fee of £6.00. There is no ticket structure this year, just turn up, pay and you’re in. As always, there is a strategically placed large wooden dance floor, a wonderful sound system, air con and the keenest bar prices around. This great venue, has a fabulous warm friendly vibe and oodles of parking space which is opposite the Club, just behind the High Street shops, less than 5 minutes walk away.
