UAH Honor Band (featuring area HS Students)

UAH Department of Music announces, after a hiatus, the return of UAH Honor Band, conducted by Dr. Jack Hontz. Please join us for an afternoon of high quality music making by some of the most talented students in North Alabama. New to the 2026 Honor Band festival is a collaborative performance with UAH Music Faculty and local guest artists. The combined program offers music ranging from the classics of Holst and Hindemith to the modern works of David Maslanka and Omar Thomas.
