U Speak Easy Toastmasters Meeting - Wear Your Favorite T-Shirt Night!

Meetings feature prepared speeches, usually lasting five to seven minutes each, followed by impromptu speaking opportunities. The prepared speakers also receive feedback. It all takes place in a light-hearted atmosphere, even when the topics are serious. The Theme for this meeting is "Wear your favorite (or most meaningful) t-shirt": one with a funny saying, a souvenir of travels, a favorite vacation spot, or the sports team you support. Maybe it has no message, but it's your favorite color or it's been worn down to just the right comfort level. If the shirt tells a story, or you can make up a story about it, wear it!
Our members come from all walks of life. Meet others who are also seeking to improve their communication and leadership skills. We learn by doing, and by receiving constructive feedback. Current club members range from beginners to veteran public speakers who provide guidance in addition to Toastmasters International's proven training materials.
