U Pick Flowers @ Down Home Farm

Farm Fresh Flower picking experience, yes please!!! Izzy's Treasures is so excited to bring you a Farm experience at the home of our in house Florist. This is a concept she has been dreaming about for years, and this year her garden is ready for you!
For $18, you will be given a 16 oz glass jar (that you get to keep), a set of shears (for cutting the flowers).
Current Flowers available for cutting: Bells of Ireland, Snap Dragons, Zinnias, Money Plant, and Celome.
Things to know: this is a working farm, please wear closed toed shoes to avoid injury (ask me how I know this is important!! lol! ).
The ground is not smooth, and not great for anything with wheels or someone who is not stable on their feet. (This is a first time experience, we are working on logistics)
Also, please respect that there are many things growing in this garden, not just flowers, so please stay on the path. That means you walk around the row and not over :)
No dogs please! (Service animals are the exception) We have dogs on the farm already, as well as other critters, we want everyone to have a safe experience. Our animals are not in the same field as you will be in and are super friendly, however dogs are territorial and we would hate for your critter to get loose and get hurt by one of our critters.
We will start promptly at 9am, our florist says the best time to pick flowers is in the am, before the heat of the day sets in. We are closing at noon as cutting flowers after that time does not have a great success rate in the flowers staying fresh all week.
We are currently doing two days, Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of July. We are looking at doing a few more days in August when the Sunflowers, Glad's and Zinnias are in full bloom :) (Pricing my vary during this time as they are much more expensive to grow and purchase bulbs.)
Please Park either along the road or in the designated area. Also, please respect other people's vehicles and do not block someone in. While our florist has been growing flowers for over 50 years, having someone come to our home is a new experience. We want everyone to have a great time and enjoy the flowers as much as we do!
Please bring cash or plan to pay via venmo or paypal as we do not have a credit card machine yet.
**Please respect that this is a working farm and while it is completely safe to be in the blocked off area, we are not responsible for accidents caused by you not following the rules. **
