Are you looking for a fun and inclusive community event? We invite everyone to get involved in our upcoming U-BEACH Community Beach Day – a fully inclusive event that provides people with disability the opportunity to enjoy adapted beach activities and social connection. You can volunteer your time, sponsor the event, help spread the word, and most importantly plan to come down to the beach and share the benefits from this great day. Join us in making the beach accessible for everyone!
Engedi has partnered with U-BEACH who were named Australia’s best community program for people with disability in 2023, and we are now even bigger and better! Our U-BEACH community beach day in Mackay will take place on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at Mackay Harbour from 9am-12pm and we would be thrilled to have your support.
This is an accessible event where we will roll out the beach mat, beach wheelchairs, beach walkers, and sand adapted sticks and crutches at Mackay Harbour. Equipment is available for children, youth, and adults.
