Recognise & Interrupt Technology Abuse Training

Proudly funded by the Mackay Community Foundation, and delivered by leading specialist security service Concentric Concepts, the Mackay Integrated Services Team (MIST) is hosting a practical session to assist Disability service providers in the Mackay area to raise awareness about technology facilitated abuse, and support victim-survivors of DFV to be able to use technology safely and free from abuse.

• Location and share settings
• Spyware and application-based tracking
• iCloud and Google operating systems
• Factory resetting and passwords
• Myths and truths about technology facilitated abuse

3. Safety planning with people experiencing technology facilitated abuse.
