Tŷ Hafan Bute Park Dark Run 2025

It’s time to glow crazy for Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice and have fun in the dark! Run, jog or walk, join with friends, take your family or do it solo the choice is yours!

We can’t wait to light up Coopers Field and see everyone waving their glow sticks in aid of local families.

This epic 2k two lap spooky fun run starts in Coopers Field. Your route will take you around the field, with Cardiff Castle in the background.

Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! - and we’ll be giving a prize for the best costume.

Sign up today and you will ensure that we can continue to be there for every family who needs us.

Registration will open at 17:45pm with a set off time at 18:30pm – there is no time limit to complete the route in.

What you need to know

Every child must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Each adult can accompany a maximum of three children.

Everyone must bring a headtorch.

Event parking is available around Bute Park.

Food Vendors will be open to purchase takeaway food and drinks.

Dogs are allowed at this event.

The event is wheelchair accessible.

Pushchairs are allowed.

Accessible toilets are available
