Come along to our Dental for All community event, on Thursday the 11th of September at HomeGround (140 Hobson Street) Tāmaki Makaurau. Kai provided!We'll hear from some panellists and kōrero together about our campaign for free, universal and Te Tiriti o Waitangi-consistent oral healthcare in Aotearoa.
We are running this event in collaboration with the Social Change Collective, who will be facilitating a Table Talk session in order to hold space for everyone to understand the lived experience inside the system and how we can collectively organise in Tāmaki Makaurau to make free dental care a reality.
Our speakers include: Agnes Magele – Coordinator at Auckland Action Against Poverty; Hugh Trengrove – Dentist & volunteer at the HomeGround dental clinic; Helen Robinson – Auckland City Missioner; Chanae Ihimaera – Senior Lecturer in Oral Health at AUT; and Kayli Taylor – Dental for All campaigner at ActionStation. The event will be facilitated by Max Harris from Dental for All and Sanat Singh from the Social Change Collective.
