Tysons Teammates for Providence Day with Supervisor Palchik

Join Tysons Teammates for a fun morning event celebrating community and the beginning of school season. We'll be teaming up with Fairfax County Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik to support Providence Day & Back to School.

We will have food, family-friendly activities, and a showcase of Fairfax County resources. We hope to bring in hundreds of families to celebrate all that Fairfax County has to offer.

Shifts Available:

Shift 1: 9:00am-11:30am

Shift 2: 11:00am-1:30 pm

Outdoor volunteer– There will be a variety of activities including the large Fairfax County

service vehicles, food trucks, the Showmobile with performances--and potentially some

puppies! It’s a large area that will have volunteers supporting with a few activations.

We are seeking volunteers to partner with a Providence District team leader to co-lead and

provide direction to other volunteers when needed.

Cafeteria volunteer– The cafeteria will host a variety of art activities, including Bingo, games, snacks, and several vendors. There will be a variety of volunteers supporting the

different activations. We are seeking a volunteer to partner with a Providence District team leader to co-lead and provide direction to other volunteers when needed.

Ushers – The event is going to have activities in the parking lot, cafeteria, library and

hallway areas. We will need ushers to encourage participation and traffic to all areas for

folks to enjoy the event in its entirety. Ushers will also be asked to provide relief to other

stationed volunteers. Seeking a volunteer to partner with a Providence District team leader

to co-lead and provide direction to other volunteers when needed.
