Texas State University’s Division of Dance and Opening Door Dance Theatre will present Convergence Oct. 22-24 in the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre.
Opening the season, Convergence invites audiences to gather, connect and experience what becomes possible when artists create together. Built around collaboration, the concert brings faculty, alumni and current students into a shared creative space where distinct voices, experiences and perspectives meet through movement.
As the Dance Division’s first production of the academic year, the concert offers a glimpse into the artistry, curiosity and community that define the program. Each work emerges from a unique collaborative process, creating an evening that moves between individual expression and collective discovery.
Audiences will experience the energy of a multigenerational community of artists as shared histories and new perspectives come together onstage.
Current Texas State undergraduate students may receive one complimentary ticket online courtesy of the university president. Other patrons may purchase tickets at txstatepresents.com or at the door.
