We are excited to host our Second Two-Headed Giant (2HG) Commander Tournament! We have established the following rules to ensure a fair and competitive event.
There will be prizes featuring store credit as well as the winners getting a shot at the Two Headed Giant Titles and if you get knocked out first round stick around we plan to run some mini
games so everyone has a few shots at winning
Entry Fee is $25.00 per person
Championship match will be a 2 out of 3 falls. So yes you have to beat them twice but same goes for them! No luck here folks best team wins!!!!!
and yes this year the champs can take the belts home with them we only ask that you join in on the fun and defend them!!!!

Tournament Structure:
Format: Two-Headed Giant (2HG) Commander (Tier 3 rules are as follows)
(you can enter your deck list at manabox.app and it will tell you the tier but the list on this event can do the same and just like W.O.T.C were winging it)

Elimination: Single Elimination
Teams: Each team consists of two players, each with their own Commander deck
Life Total: Teams start with 60 shared life

Gameplay Rules:
Turn Order: The team going first does not draw a card on their first turn
Shared Phases: Teams take turns together, sharing all phases and steps, including attacking and blocking
Blocking: Players can block on behalf of their teammate

Commander Damage:
21 damage from a single commander to one player eliminates that player (that "head" of the giant)
The surviving player continues the game alone

Infect Damage:
15 infect damage to one player eliminates that player
The surviving player continues the game alone
One player can die to commander damage and the other to infect, resulting in a loss for the team

Resource Sharing:
Mana is NOT shared between teammates
Teams do NOT share cards, lands, or other resources

Additional Rules & Interactions:
Effects Referring to Defending Player�: The controller of the effect chooses which opponent it applies to
Life Loss & Drain Effects: Since life is shared, effects like Gray Merchant of Asphodel cause both opponents to lose life from the shared total, making these effects more powerful
Extra Turns & Phases: If a player gains an extra step, phase, their entire team benefits from it. (chaining extra turns in Tier 3 is not allowed)

Win/Loss Conditions:
If a players effect states You win the game�, the entire team wins
If a players effect states You lose the game�, the entire team loses
