Yong Maeng Jong Jin 2 day meditation retreat. Led by Rebecca Otte, JDPSN, this retreat begins at 6:30 Friday evening with special chanting, sitting and an encouragement talk. Orientation for first time retreatants will be given then by the head dharma teacher. Saturday morning begins at 7am and continues through the day to 9 pm. Private kong an (koan) interviews are held throughout the day. Meals are provided and taken in a monastic 4 bowl style. Fee for Saturday and Sunday is $35 per day. You may sit one or both days. Late entry times are 9:00 am, 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. This event is available on Zoom upon request for $15 per day.
The retreat concludes with a precepts ceremony on Sunday. If you wish to take precepts, please contact Rebecca. Please register for this retreat through our website at prairyerthzen.org. Online payment is available there as well.
