Two Day Silk Scarf Painting Workshop

Join us for a creative adventure at the Two Day Silk Scarf Painting Workshop!

Unleash your artistic side at the Gallery of Local Art (GOLA) with this hands-on workshop. Learn various techniques to paint your own unique silk scarf. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm!

Our talented instructor, Carol Baker, will guide you through the process, from selecting colors to creating your design. All materials will be provided, so just come ready to have fun and get crafty!

• Students will produce a one of a kind 15” x 60” scarf plus one sample scarf, 18”x18”.
• The scarf will come ironed on wax paper.
• The student will draw a design with pencil and gutta.
• They will then paint their design. The colors must dry overnight to get the full effect.
• The student comes back the 2nd day and irons the scarf and washes it to set it.
• It is rolled in a towel, dried and ironed then finished.
• Students can bring their own paint brushes, aprons and towels, if they would like.
• This is a two day workshop Friday, Feb 21 and Saturday, Feb 22.
