Join us for a creative two-day handbuilding workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful teacup and saucer with a romantic twist! *Students must attend both days!*Day 1 – Slab Building & Underglaze:
- Create your teacup and saucer using slab-building techniques.
- Apply three coats of your chosen underglaze color.
Day 2 – Sgraffito Carving:
- Learn the sgraffito technique to carve a delicate heart pattern into your mug and saucer.
No clay experience needed—just bring your creativity, and we’ll guide you step-by-step! Pre-registration is required — each person in your group must have a ticket.
Class Structure:
- Day One: February 4th, 6-7:30pm
- Day Two: February 5th 6-7:30pm
*Students must commit to both days of the workshop, make up days will not be permitted*
What’s included:
Up to 2 lbs of clay per participant
Instruction in handbuilding techniques
Tools and materials for decorating your piece
Glazing and two kiln firings included
