Join us for a two day decoy workshop with Master Carver JP Hand on Sunday, April 12 and Sunday, April 19, 9:00 to 3:00. This class enables carvers with intermediate and above skills levels to work with Master Carver JP Hand in creating a replica Tuckerton area decoy.Participants will carve and paint a Rowley Horner Black Duck. This hollow decoy will be made of Atlantic White Cedar and painted in oils.
This class gives the carvers an opportunity to carve a decoy to enter in the Ocean County Decoy Show in Tuckerton in September.
Cape May County Decoy Carver JP Hand has been carving traditional South Jersey decoys for over half a century.
