About this Event
This pop-up collab event is the first in an ongoing series. The goal, as always, is the ongoing pursuit of Beauty, Absurdity and Delight. These collaborations offer a deep dive into one specific topic, taste, and tease.
The Topic: woody, aquatic fragrance White Whale (presented by Dame of Fragrance)
The Taste: a paired “Moby Dick” cocktail by Jordan Clemens
The Tease: international burlesque star & singer Delta Daggers
This first collaboration is with and Woodwork's Jordan Clemens. A scent-salon-meets-cocktail-pairing, this educational event gives you a small taste of the niche fragrance world, and an expert bartender’s take on the evening’s featured fragrance.
The featured scent for this event is a woody aquatic fragrance called White Whale, inspired by Moby Dick and created by Italian niche fragrance house Masque Milano. Each guest will receive a small sample of this niche fragrance (which is not otherwise available in Edmonton), and get to enjoy both the scent and a custom “Moby Dick” paired cocktail while watching performances by visiting internationally-renowned burlesque artist and singer Delta Daggers, including a special collab performance with Two Coupe founder Violette Coquette (and possibly some other small surprises...).
The evening will also feature several in-depth Q&As with Dame of Fragrance founder Carlynn McAneeley and award-winning bartender Jordan Clemens, where they will break down the behind-the-scenes details on the evening’s featured fragrance and paired cocktail, giving guests the rare chance to hear experts talking about their deep knowledge of their respective crafts. Hosted by Julian Faid.
Event begins at 8pm, and will run for approx. 90 minutes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

About our Featured Collaborators and and Special Guests:
Carlynn McAneeley, the founder of Dame of Fragrance, offers personalized fragrance recommendations, scent salons, and fragrance appreciation courses to help you discover your next favourite fragrance.
Named as “one of the Founding Fathers of the Edmonton cocktail scene,” Jordan Clemens has been dedicated to the cocktail craft for over 15 years. Previously of Three Boars fame, Jordan is Bar Director/Managing Partner for Woodwork, Bar Clementine, and Leopard. Jordan recently won a 2025 BARTENDER Award of Excellence.
Delta Daggers is an internationally-known cabaret artist, singer, host, and burlesque performer who has been wowing crowds around the world for over a decade. She has spent the past several years touring around Europe full-time, including headlining jazz festivals across Europe with the German swing band The Sazerac Swingers.
