‘Supergroup’ o fand twmpath yw TwmpDaith! Mae'r band yn cynnwys cerddorion a dawnswyr ifanc o dros Gymru ac eleni o Batagonia! Daethpwyd a hwy ynghyd drwy “Prosiect WYTH” - prosiect i hyrwyddo dawnsio traddodiadol Cymreig.
Wedi'i ysbrydoli gan brosiect tebyg yn yr Alban o'r enw’r Ceilidh Trail, mae TwmpDaith wedi hyfforddi a mowldio'r grŵp yn fand twmpath bywiog a brwdfrydig. Mae'r prosiect wedi grymuso'r bobl ifanc i chwarae, cyfeilio, galw, perfformio eitemau a chynnal gweithdai a thwmpathau sy'n addas ar gyfer pob oedran a gallu.
Yr un mor dalentog â'u traed ag y maent gyda'u hofferynnau a'u lleisiau. Heb os, bydd eu brwdfrydedd ifanc, egni diderfyn a'u halawon Cymreig bywiog yn ysbrydoli pawb i ddawnsio mewn dim o dro.

TwmpDaith is a Welsh ceilidh supergroup. The band consists of young musicians and dancers from all over Wales, and this year Patagonia! Brought together through – “Prosiect WYTH”, to promote traditional Welsh dancing. The TwmpDaith name comes from the Welsh words “Twmpath” = Welsh Ceilidh + “Taith” = Journey.
Inspired by a similar project in Scotland called the Ceilidh Trail, the TwmpDaith project has handpicked, trained and moulded the group into a vibrant, enthusiastic twmpath band. The project has empowered the youngsters to play, call, perform items and host workshops and twmpaths suitable for all ages and abilities.
All as talented with their feet as they are with their instruments and voices. Their youthful enthusiasm, boundless energy and lively Welsh tunes will without a doubt have everyone up and dancing in no time.
