Have you heard of the legendary Twisted Sisters motorcycle route in Texas and been meaning to run it? Now's your chance! Join us on the weekend of Sept 18-21st, for our trip down and back up, with a ton of riding around these legendary routes and scenic byways all weekend! As a group, we'll be starting out each day and staying overnight in Bandera TX, about 30-45 min east of the Twisted Sisters themselves. Stay tuned for lodging information in the coming weeks!
Thursday: Meet up at the normal 7-11 at Coit/Campbell on Thursday, Sept 18th 2025 and we'll ride down to Bandera together, rural scenic twisties, limited interstate, about 6.5 hours ride 320 miles, with plenty of stops for fuel/lunch/snacks in between
Friday: Meet up at the Shell in Bandera in the morning, we'll run Twisted Sister clockwise with stops every 1/4th of the way, riding out to Kerrville for lunch and then back to Bandera for the evening
Saturday: Meet up at the Shell in Bandera in the morning, we'll run Twisted Sister counter-clockwise with stops every 1/4th of the way, riding back to Bandera thru Medina by noonish, the traditional start/end point, leaving people Sat evening to keep riding again/more if they so choose.
Sunday: Meet up at the Shell in Bandera in the morning, all packed up and checked out, for the return trip back to DFW. We'll make the 6.5 hour 320 mile trip back up thru the same rural scenic twisties, using limited interstate again, and dropping everyone back off at the Coit/Campbell gas station to get home in the evening!
This is an intense weekend of long sweeping corners, tight bends, hairpins, and beautiful views, so this weekend is not for the feint of heart. Please be a skilled enough rider to navigate curves appropriately, we will accommodate pace for everyone. Be prepared for at least 6 hours of riding each day if you plan to attend! We will have plenty of water breaks and everything but this weekend will not be the standard Sunday Slow Ride pace.
