Combining memorable hooks and carefully crafted arrangements with a restless desire to experiment, their songs draw from a wide range of influences, including The Beatles, Grizzly Bear, Black Country New Road and Frank Zappa.For lovers of sad girl indie pop, Eliza Bird crafts warm, heartfelt anthems, drawing on influences from Angie McMahon and Phoebe Bridgers. Nestled in Nipaluna/Hobart, dreamy synths and guitars merge with tangible lyrics that hold you close, like a long hug after a big day.
Molly O’Brien is a songwriter with serenades rooted in the realms of folk, blues and soul. Carried by a voice distinctively rich in depth and resonance, her music draws inspiration from the landscapes of her island home Lutruwita/Tasmania, and her introspective connection with the human experience.
