Twinkling Stars with Last Motel & Verdani at The MoshpitSydney / Wollongong based 5 piece, Twinkling Stars, began life late in 2018 as the creative vehicle of singer/songwriter, Jacob JB Serra, and has been performing regularly since that time. Drawing primary influence from jangle pop, alternative country, and grunge, the group’s introspective sound also incorporates elements of spoken word, free jazz and minimalist drone. Twinkling Stars’ second, self titled album was released in October, 2025.

Verdani inhabit the darker edges of alternative rock—where emotion, atmosphere and artistry collide. Drawing from post punk, goth, art rock and baroque influences, the band create immersive sonic worlds that feel both intimate and expansive.
