Twin Tiers Yarn Crawl Returns for its Fifth Year to Celebrate "Local Yarn Store Day"

Four premier yarn shops across the Twin Tiers region are joining forces to host the fifth annual Twin Tiers Yarn Crawl on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This regional event coincides with Local Yarn Store Day, a national celebration designed to support and showcase the unique contributions of small fiber businesses. Needlecrafters of all skill levels are invited to embark on a "fiber-filled adventure," visiting each participating shop to collect stamps in their Yarn Crawl Passport. Participants who secure stamps from all four locations will be eligible for special prize drawings. 

The participating yarn shops for the 2026 Twin Tiers Yarn Crawl are:

Blossburg Company Store at 224 Main Street, Blossburg, PA

Fiber Arts in the Glen at 315 N. Franklin St, Watkins Glen, NY

Rabbit Row Yarns & Haberdashery at 24 E. Market St, Corning, NY

Wooly Minded at 91 E. Market St, Corning, NY

The Twin Tiers Yarn Crawl offers knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers the opportunity to explore new materials and find fresh inspiration for their crafts. Each participating shop has curated unique promotions and exclusive fiber products specifically for the event.

Observed annually, Local Yarn Store Day is an industry-wide appreciation day created by The National Needlearts Association (TNNA). The celebration highlights local yarn stores as vital community hubs, bringing enthusiasts together to discover new techniques and celebrate the heritage of fiber crafts.
