Twin Cities GRC Pack Walk and Practice in the Park
Advertisement
Join us at Sunfish Lake Park for a pack walk and SR Skills practice.
Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the event to potty your dog and get everyone organized together at the nature center parking lot. We will start the walk promptly at 4:00.
*Please plan to use a 6ft or shorter leash, as that is what is required for the SR (social responsibility) test with GRC
*Do not allow dogs to meet unless expressly stated it’s ok by the owner
*Leave enough space between dogs for everyone’s comfort
*You are welcome to bring multiple dogs, but please use your judgement on being able to manage them in the company of reactive dogs. GRC is a reactive dog-friendly sport
*Bring treats or toys as needed for SR skills training. It is very helpful to be able to put your dog in the car while we practice SR skills, as not all dogs can be out at once to practice some of these
*Bring plenty of water and bags. Pick up after your dogs
$5 donation to the club is encouraged!
