Our annual Twilight woodland family event is back !!!
🎃 Follow the Pumpkin Trail into the Woods…
Walk on the wild side as dusk falls and join us for a magical evening of woodland wonder at our much-loved Twilight Family Forest School event.
As the sun sets and lanterns begin to glow, the woodland comes alive with mystery and enchantment. Follow the pumpkin-lit trail into the trees, where a night of seasonal joy awaits. There’ll be storytelling beneath the branches, glowing shadow puppetry, and the chance to tune in to the sounds of twilight with real bat detectors. Children can enjoy seasonal nature crafts, play with our woodland equipment, and take part in a forest treasure hunt.
Our fire will be crackling with warmth for bushcraft, fire lighting, and of course — gooey s’mores! There’ll be donut bobbing, glow stick dancing under the stars, and heaps of other joyful woodland games and surprises.

🥣 Campfire Feast Menu Includes:
• Hearty vegan vegetable soup and bread
• Baked Camembert with vegetable crudités
• S’mores galore!
✨ Please bring your own bowls, plates, mugs, and cutlery to enjoy your feast mindfully.

📍 Location & Arrival Info:
Please meet at The Jolly Woodman Car Park (SL1 8PF) at 4:00 PM.
We’ll begin with a gentle Pumpkin Trail walk to the woodland site (just a few minutes away).
If you’re running late, simply cross over Littleworth Road and follow the lit pumpkin trail across the heathland to find us.
Parking is available along Littleworth Road.

Once on site, you’re warmly welcome to help gather wood, light the fire, or simply enjoy exploring. Our friendly team – including Finley and Sophie – will be on hand with nature crafts and activity support throughout the evening.
✨ Hand-washing facilities are available, and all staff are enhanced DBS checked.
