Join us for a tour of Idyl-Oak Ranch, a 210-acre working cattle ranch and forest in Oakland!This tour will feature:
Managing a machine planted forest
Challenges of managing a dry-site plantation
Pruning & grazing for fuel reduction
Thinning
Non-timber forest products (mushrooms, berries, boughs)

This is a dinner potluck featuring chili made with Idyl-Oak beef and hot apple cider from the ranch’s historic apple trees! Please bring a side dish to share & a chair. No dogs please.
