We're SO EXCITED to announce a Lendonwood "Twilight BOOtanical Trail" event set for Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25. This Halloween-themed evening will be from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. each day, with parking at Church of the Shepherd (COS) and shuttle transportation to the garden aboard the "Pumpkin Express." Although not a trunk-or-treat, fun refreshments will be served; the trail will feature lots of pop-up surprises along the way. Aimed at children 12 and under, there will be costumed "Minions" guiding families from one experience to another. For example, there will be friendly pirates entertaining from the Koi Pond island, a special animatronics display, friendly witches, scarecrows, mummies, a Monarch butterfly, Peter Pan harpist, a unicorn, Snow White, dinosaur, school police officers, "Sparky" the dog from the Grove Fire Department, fairy godmothers, circus dancers, Zombie the Frog, black cats, and more. Admission is by donation, with cash and checks accepted at the gate.
