About this Event
Maps neatly outline a country's borders, but in the digital world, boundaries aren't nearly so clear-cut. As Canada finds itself revisiting its security and sovereignty due to on-again-off-again economic threats, have we done enough to secure the nation's digital independence? 🍁
If your data, your business software, your social media and online identity reside offshore, it’s subject to foreign laws and possibly worse.
On Friday, February 27 at 7pm in Waterloo, Ontario join Steve Paikin and guests at the Centre for International Governance Innovation for a discussion of what Canada can and should do.
Panel guests include: Vass Bednar (Canadian Shield Institute) Craig McLellan (ThinkOn) and Mark Surman (Mozilla)
