Tuscadero Jeep Ride following the Meet & Greet
Y’all voted and the results are in — Newfound Gap it is. Sitting right on the TN/NC border, it’s one of the most beautiful and iconic overlooks in the Great Smoky Mountains. We’ll roll out together in a gorgeous Tuscadero parade heading straight into the mountains. This ride has grown every single year, and I’m excited to see how many of us hit the mountain together this time.
📍 Lineup Location
In past years, we lined up at the Smoky Mountain Opry, but it’s under construction now.
If the parking lot is accessible, we will line up at the bottom of the former Smoky Mountain Opry parking lot.
If not, we will gather at the bottom of the Hard Rock Café parking lot instead.
I’ll post updates as we get closer so everyone knows exactly where to meet.

🌄 Ride Details
This route includes two‑lane paved mountain roads, a steady elevation climb, cooler temps at the top, and a huge overlook with wide mountain views. Newfound Gap is absolutely beautiful — but it does get crowded, so it’s possible some of us may not be able to park once we reach the top.
From Hard Rock Café to Newfound Gap, the drive is usually about an hour, depending on traffic.
The round‑trip ride is about 1 hour and 40 to 1 hour and 45 minutes if you return to Pigeon Forge.
We will stop for restrooms at Sugarlands Visitor Center, so the total time will be a little longer.
📡 Radios
I’ll have radios available to borrow, and I encourage folks in the middle and at the end of the line to grab one. I only have a limited number, so I won’t have enough for everyone — but having radios spread throughout the group really helps us stay together, especially traveling down the busy Parkway where it’s easy to get separated.
I will be parking at Newfound Gap, so please return your radio to me there when we arrive.
👋 How to Find Me
My name is Kristy, and my Jeep’s name is Pebbles. Pebbles has beach scenes on both back windows, and her name is on the hood, so she’s easy to spot.
My husband Jamey will be with me, and we’ll have our boxer dog Mo — he’s super friendly and will love meeting everyone.
You can message me on Facebook Messenger or text/call me at 304‑887‑6137.
🏁 Ride Ends at Newfound Gap
Once we reach the overlook, the ride officially ends and everyone is free to continue your adventure in the Great Smoky Mountains.
