Perfect for young readers and animal lovers, this interactive storytime brings the Lexi Lop books to life as Andrea reads from her heartwarming stories and introduces children to the real bunnies who inspired them. It’s a cozy, joyful morning designed to spark a love of reading, libraries, and gentle storytelling.

The Lexi Lop stories were inspired by real-life moments from Andrea Stetson’s family and childhood experiences shared with her children, Kristyn and Alexander.

Lexi Lop and the Best Library Book Ever was inspired when Andrea’s daughter discovered a library book she never wanted to stop reading—only to learn it was out of print and hard to find. Lexi Lop and the Best Egg Hunt Ever grew from a sweet and memorable local egg hunt experience.

The photographs featured in the books are of the many English lop bunnies that live in the Stetson home in North Naples, Florida. Even the family dog, Jeannie, makes a special cameo. These titles are the first two books in the Lexi Lop series, celebrating curiosity, kindness, and the magic of everyday moments.

Andrea Stetson is a journalist, author, and longtime writer in Southwest Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from NYU. Andrea has worked for ABC and CBS affiliates in Florida and Pennsylvania and has spent the past 28 years writing for a Southwest Florida newspaper.

Her work also appears in Southwest Florida Parent & Child, Grandeur, and Gulfshore Life. Andrea has received numerous awards, including the Newsmaker Award for distinguished coverage of public education in Florida, the Media Award for Hurricane Coverage from the News-Press, and Gold and Bronze awards from Parenting Publications of America.

When she’s not writing, Andrea enjoys traveling, boating, swimming, pickleball, reading, volunteering with her Read to Rabbits program, and spending time with her family—and, of course, her bunnies and dog.
