⛰️ Turtle Mountain Hike / Ruck!

Hey everyone! We’re planning a trek out to Turtle Mountain and looking to get a group together.
Here are the key details:
Distance: ~22–24 km round trip (out-and-back).
Trail Conditions: A nice, steady trail overall without complex technical sections, though there's a steeper climb right near the summit. Expect to bypass a few puddles along the way.
River Crossing: About 1/3 of the way in, we’ll ford a river. Make sure to bring water shoes (or at least trekking poles, a towel, and a bag for wet footwear).
What to Pack:
Warm layers: Autumn is here and it gets quite windy at the peak.
Food & Hydration: Plenty of water and snacks/lunch for a long day.
It’s a longer trek, but the payout is 100% worth it—the view from the top is incredible (check out the photos of the river and summit view attached!).
Carpooling & Logistics:
We currently have 3 people confirmed. Once we have the final headcount, we’ll coordinate rides to bring as few cars as possible.
Parking: Options are either along the highway or 3–4 km down the gravel road right at the trailhead.
