Turning Skies: Seasonal Sights Brought to Life
About this Event
Join us beneath the dome for a live journey through the September and early October night sky! Guided by a planetarium educator, you’ll learn to recognize the stars, constellations, planets, and other celestial objects visible during the changing season. You’ll explore the sky in real time with a presenter who can answer questions, point out what to look for, and share the stories and science behind the sights overhead. Whether you’re a longtime stargazer or just learning your way around the night sky, this live planetarium experience will help you look up with a whole new perspective.
Program length is one hour.
Children under 5 are not permitted.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before show time, because late arrivals may not be seated for safety reasons in our darkened planetarium.
If you are not already familiar with the location of the planetarium, please be sure to understand our location using the map here on Eventbrite or here: Planetarium location in Google Maps For our public programs, you will be able to park in the I-37 parking lot off of Iroquois Drive directly next to Buffalo State University's Science and Math Complex which houses the planetarium.
