As the Wheel of the Year turns once more, we arrive at the golden threshold of Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh—the first harvest festival. This sacred time marks the beginning of the harvest season, when the fruits of our labor begin to ripen and the Earth offers her abundance in grain, bread, and sustenance.
Lammas is a celebration of harvest, gratitude, sacrifice, and manifestation. The fields sway heavy with grain, the gardens overflow, and we are called to recognize what we have cultivated—both in the physical world and within our own lives. It is a time to give thanks for what has come to fruition, to honor the effort it took to get here, and to consciously release what no longer serves so that continued growth may unfold.
This is also a sacred moment of transformation. Just as the grain must be cut to nourish the people, we acknowledge the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Lammas reminds us that all creation requires both effort and surrender. It is a powerful time for prosperity magic, gratitude work, and setting intentions for what we wish to continue bringing to harvest in the months ahead.
Join us as we gather in sacred space for a Temple of Witchcraft-based ritual to honor Lammas and the turning of the Wheel. Through guided ritual, intention, and community connection, we will celebrate the blessings of the harvest, align with the energy of abundance, and empower our continued growth and manifestation.
The rituals will be led by an Official Celebrant of the Temple of Witchcraft Pisces Ministry and Ordained Ministers of the Temple of Witchcraft, with the help of St. Louis, MO Teachers of the Temple of Witchcraft, graduates, students, and others in the community. Ritual is led by High Priestess with the Temple of Witchcraft, Kelley Ross.
All are welcome to join this rich and meaningful celebration of harvest, gratitude, and the sacred cycles of the Earth.
