Are you haunted by the mountain of Thanksgiving leftovers lurking in your fridge? Join us for the “Turkey Trot Hike” and walk off that pumpkin pie and stuffing! This fun, post-feast trek is the perfect way to burn off a few calories, enjoy the fresh air, and make room for round two of leftovers (if you dare). All fitness levels welcome, and stretchy pants are encouraged!
Things You Should Know:
Meet: Juniper Dirt Parking Lot, total 1.3 Miles round trip
Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots, 1 liter of water per person per mile, and weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.).
Cost: Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
This program may be cancelled due to weather.
