Before you gear up for your Thanksgiving feast, come run the Turkey Trek 5K along Pemberton Park's nature trails. Try to outrun Mr. Gobble Gobble, then enjoy refreshments and holiday pie will be available after the race (it is Thanksgiving, after all)!
There will be chip timing and awards for the overall male and female winners, for the best Thanksgiving costume and for first through third place in six age categories.
Runners registered by Saturday, Nov. 1 will be guaranteed a long-sleeved race shirt.
Preregistration is available through Friday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m.
Register on race morning between 7-7:45 a.m. Cards only; no cash.
All proceeds from the race go toward Pemberton Nature Camp and other environmental education programs. Thank you for your support of the park.
