Turkey Reservations 2024

Thank you for your interest in a fresh, pasture-raised turkey for your holiday meal. We are taking a non-refundable $20 deposit to hold a turkey in your name. What can you expect? We WILL have a bird for you! We process the birds the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, Sunday, November 24. Typically, Heritage breed hens weigh between 6-10 pounds, toms between 10-20 pounds. We do have some double breasted birds this year, that might be in the 18-35 lb range (maybe even a little bigger, we'll see)

You MUST pick up your fresh bird at Long Shadow Farm, 101 Bothun Rd, Berthoud, 80513 on Sunday, November 24 between 10am and 5pm. Due to conflicting events, we are having pick up ONLY on Sunday. We will do our best to find one at the CLOSEST weight that you request. We cannot guarantee an exact weight, but do the best we can. If you have a long drive, we suggest you bring a cooler with ice. If you are unable to pick up your bird from the farm on that day, PLEASE DO NOT RESERVE A BIRD without contacting us first. We can make special arrangements if needed. However, we are NOT available after the 24th for pick up. We will NOT be available the entire week of Thanksgiving.

All the turkeys are raised at Long Shadow Farm, and turkeys are $5.50/lb. The birds this year should be on the small side (6-10 lbs) and the very large size (25 - 35 lbs). There may be a few in the middle range, BUT NOT MANY. Please keep this in mind!

This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. $20 will be discounted off the price of your turkey at the time of pick up. If you do not pick up a bird, this deposit will not be refunded.
