Make SkyWatch part of your Thanksgiving weekend plans and festivities! We're hosting a supply drive and fundraiser that Saturday, November 29th from 12-4pm. Bring your family, friends, and guests by the rescue and drop off those holiday leftovers. Our birds will happily finish off your feast! We can also use bags of grain available right around the corner at Hudson’s Hardware (6301 Castle Hayne Rd.). Hudson’s gives us a discount on grain, just ask for a bag of scratch for SkyWatch and bring it on by.
We will have a table with handmade arts & crafts and Christmas ornaments for sale. What better a time to pick up a holiday present for the birder in your life? Plus, you can feed our donkeys snacks while you shop ($10 donation/person).
This is not only a great opportunity to start the season of giving early, but to give back! All donations and proceeds directly benefit the birds and help us financially prepare for the winter season ahead.
