TURGEON OPEN

Well it’s that time of the year folks for the annual TURGEON OPEN. Saturday Sept 26 at 1pm will be the pickleball tournament. Double elimination as always. Find a partner and try to beat the champs. If you don’t have A partner someone will play with you. This year is going to be polish theme and we will be serving kielbasa, lazy pierogi and lazy golumpki. Please feel free to bring anything else to eat or drink. This is byob and bring your own chair. We will also have other games set up and plenty of things for the kids to do and maybe even swim depending on the weather. Please respond if you’re playing or spectating and who your partner will be so we can get a roster together and an idea on how much food. Please comment on what you will bring so not everyone brings the same.
Sunday September 27 is the annual golf outing at westover country club. We will aim for 10 am start time and we usually have about 4-5 groups and everyone can play. In the past teams are usually put together based on skill level to try and make it as fair for everyone as possible. Each team should have at least 1 female but usually it’s even 2-2 per team. More people the better. This is a scramble best ball match so everyone hits from the same spot.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd for pickleball and the winning team for golf
