🇵🇹 A arrancar a sétima edição do 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐚 & 𝐎𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐬 dedicada ao “𝐄𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚”, o cenário único dos Claustros do Convento da Cartuxa metamorfoseia-se na China Antiga para acolher 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒕, celebrando o centenário da última ópera inacabada de 𝐏𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐢. Uma das 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐨́𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞, em torno da resolução do enigma como factor de sobrevivência.
👑 A princesa Turandot desafia os seus pretendentes a resolver três enigmas mortais: quem falhar perde a vida, quem vencer conquistará a sua mão e o trono da China. Quando o príncipe exilado Calaf se apaixona por ela, decide arriscar tudo para decifrar os enigmas e conquistar o seu coração. Conseguirá ele derreter o gelo de Turandot?
Nunca Puccini foi tão ousado harmonicamente, mantendo a sua genialidade melódica, numa música repleta de colorido oriental e evocando as sonoridades da música chinesa através do uso da escala pentatónica, numa cadência vibrante de banda sonora de filme de aventuras.

No papel-título, a impressionante soprano 𝐎𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐲𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐚, acompanhada pelos tenores 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐥 ( 5 e 8 de Agosto) e 𝐄𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐬̌𝐜́𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜́ ( 6 e 9 de Agosto) no papel de Calaf. 🇬🇧 Opening the 7th edition of 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐚 & 𝐎𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐬, dedicated to the theme of the “𝐄𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚”, the unique setting of the Cloisters of the Convento da Cartuxa is transformed into Ancient China to host 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒕, celebrating the centenary of 𝐏𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐢’s final unfinished opera. One of the great masterpieces of opera, centred on the solving of riddles as a matter of survival.
👑 Princess Turandot challenges her suitors to solve three deadly riddles: those who fail lose their lives, while the victor will win her hand and the throne of China. When the exiled Prince Calaf falls in love with her, he decides to risk everything to unravel the riddles and win her heart. Will he succeed in melting Turandot’s icy soul?
Never was Puccini so harmonically daring while maintaining his extraordinary melodic genius, creating a score rich in oriental colour and evoking the sounds of Chinese music through the use of the pentatonic scale, with the thrilling pace of an epic adventure soundtrack.
