– Bill Memorial Library will host storyteller and musician Kent Besocke for an hour-long performance, Tunes and Tales of Connecticut’s Revolution. Hear songs and stories that will reveal the state’s hidden history and folklore and learn about legendary figures from Connecticut’s Revolutionary past. Kent Besocke is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who regularly plays for local festivals, breweries, historical groups, private gatherings and events. His performances combine homespun stories, original songs, covers of popular tunes, and accompaniment that includes guitar, banjo and other stringed instruments.
