Tunes and Shrooms '25- open mic community fundraiser

Celebrate fungi, community, and fun with the team at Winding Brook Farms - mushrooms & more: this community yard party and fundraiser for Feeding the Carolinas. The afternoon open mic sesh will be filled with a variety of genres and skill levels.

All folks, from novice to professional, are invited to perform at the open mic event. Variety is the spice of life, so all genres are welcome too: guitar, banjo, singing, poetry, drumming...If you would like to perform at the open mic, please reach out to us at 704-305-3672 or windingbrookfarms@gmail to reserve your time slot (sets can be from 5 - 15 minutes). Winding Brook Farms is grateful to both musicians for donating their time and talents.

You automatically donate to Feeding Carolinas by purchasing a guest pass through this site. Not only are you donating, but you will be helping us keep track of the parking (since spots are limited). Children under the age of twelve may attend for free, but a love offering would be appreciated. An adult family member must accompany all children.

This open mic fundraiser is a perfect way to enjoy a fall afternoon while supporting others in our community and state. Bring happy vibes with you and some snacks to share. Get your donation tickets early!

Help your neighbors by combating food insecurity. Feeding the Carolinas is a network that unites the ten Feeding America Food Banks serving North and South Carolina. We act as a unified voice regarding hunger and food insecurity in our area, supporting our member Food Banks to provide a healthy, adequate, and consistent food supply to every community every day.

Winding Brook Farms is a bespoke, cozy mushroom farm tucked right outside of downtown Monroe. We are passionate about our community and all things mushroom. Our mission is to "doing good while nurturing connections and community." Winding Brook Farms donated ten percent of all profits to organizations that feed the hungry, both locally and nationally.
