Funk, acid jazz and rare groove is at the heart and soul of this Saxophone led 5 piece band formed in 2017 by 3 long term friends and musical collaborators.Tunehead have honed their skills performing and recording with a host of artists across many musical genres over the years. In the end it was inevitable they would get back to the music closest to their hearts – And you can feel the love for this funky, jazzy and edgy blend of irresistibly danceable music in their performance.
If you’ve never heard of Steely Dan, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, The Average White Band or Grover Washington, its time you made their acquaintance! - But if these names conjure up memories of good times – then its time to re live them with Tunehead!
