Want to start making a difference in your community? Enjoy getting your hands dirty? The Riverina Highlands Landcare Network, together with Snowy Valleys Council, are hosting a community planting day at the Tumut Wetlands 🌾
Join us in helping plant a diverse range of sedges, grasses, rushes, trees and shrubs, all of which play an important role in the future of this diverse space in our community! 🍃

📍 Tumut Wetlands, access is off Gocup Road (we'll attach a map in the event page)
We encourage members of the community, families (yup, the kids will love this!) and anyone interested in volunteering to come down, roll up your sleeves and be a part of the future of the Tumut Wetlands 🌱
FYI, please dress appropriately for whatever the weather throws at us, with enclosed shoes, hat, sunscreen, your own gardening gloves etc. The RHLN team will have some tools on hand to share around, but if you'd got a spare shovel, bring it with you! 🪏
