Oklahomans for Equality (OKEQ) Presents the Tulsa Fringe Festival Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, 2026
Presented at Dennis R. Neill Equality Center 621 S 4th St., Tulsa, OK, in partnership with Echo Theatre Company.
Join us for the second annual Tulsa Fringe Festival, a four-day celebration of independent creators, bold performances, and queer joy! Taking place across multiple spaces at OKEQ, the festival features several days of live entertainment, a maker’s market, and artistic showcases for all ages.
In 2025, members of OKEQ, Echo Theatre Company, and Twisted Arts worked together to create the Tulsa Fringe Festival. The inaugural event featured nearly 100 local performers, a dozen artists and crafters, and educational panels with members of TPAC that spanned over 2 days. This year’s festival has grown to 4 days starting on Thursday, July 23rd and ends Sunday, July 26 with a celebration featuring OKEQ’s outrageously popular monthly event Broadway Clubhouse.
What to Expect
The Tulsa Fringe Festival offers a weekend of exciting, interactive, and inclusive programming from morning through late night—there’s truly something for everyone!
The event kicks off Thursday, July 23, at 6:30 pm with ticketed events in the Lynn Riggs Theater, including Blackjack Rewrite Company’s theatrical shorts celebrating the history of Route 66, and the band Deli Sword will close out the evening. Friday evening the excitement continues with new work from local rap artist Nikole Dragon closing out the night. On Saturday, OKEQ will host the makers’ market in the Bruce Goff Event Center featuring many of the artists from our Pride exhibition, MOREcolor, with performances and events continuing in the Lynn Riggs Theatre and free entertainment in the Allie Jensen Memorial Art Gallery.
Some of Saturday’s ticketed events include the popular HeyDay Idols cosplay group, the return of the band Amanda and the Birds, and a second installment of the Leslie Jordan biopic starting Pat Hobbs, created by Machele Dill.
