Welcome spring with us at Ten Broeck Mansion! Tour the historic 1798 Ten Broeck Mansion and explore four acres of gardens freshly in bloom.
About this Event

Spring has sprung at the Ten Broeck Mansion! Join us for special spring-themed tours in April and May digging deeper into the history of the Ten Broeck Mansion gardens, and highlighting some of our favorite floral and spring-themed items in our collections.

During your visit, explore our four acres of gardens in peak spring bloom! Self-guided tour brochures are available in our garden kiosk for visitors to enjoy.

All children (to age 18) are FREE. We recommend at least one adult per child under 5. We suggest you take an additional 20-30 minutes to explore our extensive gardens on your own with self-guided tours, and browse our museum shop.

To make your visit safe and enjoyable for all:

1) Getting Here

  • Free off‑street parking: Please use our Livingston Avenue parking lot (GPS: 136 Livingston Avenue, Albany, NY).
  • Walking: Our neighborhood has sidewalks for easy access.
  • Public transportation: CDTA bus routes 100 and 106 stop about a four‑minute walk away.
  • Visit our website for a map and additional travel information.

2) Making Your Visit Safe and Comfortable

  • Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for historic, sometimes uneven surfaces. Spike heels are not permitted.

  • The ACHA often runs concurrent programs; please respect other programs’ spaces and access, as all visitors share the site.
  • Late arrivals cannot remain past the scheduled program end time, and programs cannot be extended.

6) Ensuring a Positive Experience

  • The ACHA is committed to a welcoming, respectful environment. For everyone’s safety, visitors must follow all guidelines and the instructions of ACHA staff. Disrespectful, abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate behavior is not permitted.
